Scholarships and grants

Provides financial support for preservice teachers studying an initial teacher education program at university to undertake their professional experience in a rural or remote Queensland state school.

For high-achieving Year 12 students who are studying teaching at a Queensland university.

For graduating year 12 students that demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and academic excellence.

Financial benefits are available for state school teachers to work in rural and remote areas.

Provides the opportunity for one Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander tertiary student to continue Mr McBride's legacy through their personal commitment and contribution within their local community.
