Land use mapping

Land use mapping can help natural resource management through the identification of land use patterns and changes.

We have land use datasets from 2004, 2006 and 2009 for selected Queensland catchments, and from 1999 for all state catchments.

We follow the Australian Collaborative Land Use and Management Program, which includes an agreed national land use classification scheme.
