Module L - Low impact acts

This module will help you determine if low-impact acts will be affected by native title in the proposed area.

Low-impact acts are usually temporary or intermittent. Examples include:

  • filming for television or cinema
  • placing survey markers
  • collecting firewood
  • establishing walking track signs
  • building fencing.

Training for this module

We recommend you complete our online training on module GD before you get started. Through practical scenarios, you’ll learn about:

  • key terminology and concepts
  • how to identify proposed dealings that do not fall within Module L
  • how to interpret critical definitions and criteria
  • how to decide whether a dealing can proceed and if a low impact condition applies.
