Religious representative

A religious representative is a member of an organised religion—or other religious group even if it is not or does not consider itself part of an organised religion—who either:
  • holds a position that is supported by the religion or group, including financial support, allowing them to
    • devote themselves to promoting the religion or group's objects or values
    • hold themselves out as a representative of the religion or group
  • is training to hold such a position.
