Have you or a member of your family been the victim of a crime? Victim Assist Queensland can help you recover.

We help people who have experienced all types of crime in Queensland, whether the crime happened to you, a member of your family or if you've witnessed a crime.

Victims of violent crime may be eligible for financial assistance. You may receive a one-off special assistance or distress payment.

We may be able to help pay for things like counselling, medical treatment, relocation, security, loss of earnings and funeral expenses.

We can refer and connect all victims and their families to specialist support services to assist with their recovery.
