Richmond QGAP
Services offered at this locationRichmond QGAP will close at 12pm on Tuesday 4 November 2025, reopening Thursday 6 November 2025.
Richmond QGAP will be closed on Wednesday 5 November, Wednesday 12 November and Wednesday 19 November 2025. The closest open centre is Hughenden QGAP.
You can call us on (07) 4741 3227 from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9.30am to 4.30pm Wednesday to speak to a local operator. Outside these hours, you can leave a message at any time. Alternatively, there are a range of online services available.

Rockhampton Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre
Services offered at this locationHeavy vehicle inspections are now performed by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). You can book a NHVR heavy vehicle inspection using our online service.
- pre-booked programmed inspections of heavy vehicles more than 16 tonne gross vehicle mass
- pre-booked programmed inspections of trailers more than 10 tonne aggregate trailer mass
- pre-booked programmed inspections of light passenger vehicles (only minibus 3.5-4.5 tonne gross vehicle mass). Note: Approved Inspection Stations may also inspect these vehicles.
Rockhampton Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre
Services offered at this locationRockhampton Customer Service Centre has relocated to a temporary site at the same address while the main building is refurbished. The temporary centre is located behind the main building and is accessed by the rear carpark. While all normal services are available from the temporary centre, we encourage you to use our online services to complete your transaction if you can, and save yourself a trip.
Appointments are required for all dealer services and pre-registration inspections of trailers and caravans (over 1 axle or 750kg ATM) and vehicles (over 4.5 tonne GVM) at this location. You can book an appointment online or in-person. You can also use the link provided in the booking confirmation email to change or cancel an existing appointment.
