  1. Zillmere Motor Vehicle Inspection Centre

    Services offered at this location
    • pre-booked programmed inspections of heavy vehicles more than 16 tonne gross vehicle mass
    • pre-booked programmed inspections of trailers more than 10 tonne aggregate trailer mass
    • pre-booked programmed inspections of light passenger vehicles (only minibus 3.5-4.5 tonne gross vehicle mass). Note: Approved Inspection Stations may also inspect these vehicles.

  2. Zillmere Transport and Main Roads Select Service Centre

    Zillmere Customer Service Centre will be closed from Thursday 25 December 2025 to Monday 29 December 2025, reopening from Tuesday 30 December 2025. Also closing on Thursday 1 January 2026. Alternatively, there are a range of online services available.

    Due to long-term road works around our Carseldine Customer Service Centre:

    • Until further notice practical driving tests will be run from the Zillmere Select Service Centre, to ensure applicants continue to receive a safe and effective driving test route.
    • You can book a practical driving test using our online service.
    Services offered at this location
    • pre-registration inspections for light rigid, medium rigid and heavy vehicles, including caravans and mobile machinery
    • inspections of trailers over 750kg and imported trailers
    • practical driver testing for light rigid, medium rigid and heavy vehicles
    • practical driver testing for light vehicles (except motorcycles)
    • all other services previously offered here have now moved to the Carseldine customer service centre
