About
The Queensland Family and Child Commission's third annual Youth Summit is taking place in Brisbane on Friday 10 April 2026. The Youth Summit is an opportunity for Queensland children and young people, aged 25 and under, to share their lived experiences and ideas for positive change directly to government and sector leaders to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families. Speakers from our last two Summits have created opportunities to advocate for systems change across a range of sectors including health, education, disability, domestic and family violence, child protection, and more, following their Summit presentations. They’re continuing to have an impact and shape the way sector professionals think about youth participation, advocacy and accountability. To find out more or to get involved, head to https://www.qfcc.qld.gov.au/youth/summit.
