Championing accessibility
Disability Action Week is a chance to reflect on our progress and look at what we can all do to build a more accessible and inclusive state.
The theme for Disability Action Week 2025 is ‘Communicate. Connect. Create’. This year’s theme aims to demonstrate accessible communication in action in our communities and the simple changes we can make to improve access for all.
By making your information accessible, you invite more people to visit your business, attend your event, support your team, volunteer or thrive in your workplace.
During Disability Action Week, you may like to run an event to share the importance of accessible communication and learn how to connect, include and empower people with disability.
Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) Disability Action Week 2025 webinar
To celebrate Disability Action Week, QDN will be hosting a webinar on Friday 28 November from 10am – 12pm and everyone is welcome.
The theme for Disability Action Week 2025 is ‘Communicate. Connect. Create’.
This year’s theme highlights the inclusion of accessible communication to connect people, and the importance of including people with disability in the arts and other creative fields. It is also an opportunity to show how some simple changes we make can improve access for all.
During Disability Action Week, QDN is bringing together experts who have shaped the creative landscape of Queensland to discuss access and inclusion in the arts for people with disability.
