Registered marriage celebrants can learn how to submit marriage records online.

In short

Authorised marriage celebrants can apply to use the Service Provider Portal to:

  • submit marriage registrations
  • order official marriage certificates
  • choose postal options.

What you should know

You must be a registered celebrant to use this service.

To sign up and use the Service Provider Portal you need a Queensland Digital Identity.

Before we give first time users access, we will check with the Attorney-General's Department to make sure you are registered as a celebrant.

What you can do online

Approved service providers can use the Service Provider Portal to:

  • create and submit official marriage documents
  • scan and upload signed official marriage documents
  • submit marriage records
    • order official marriage certificates and choose postal options
  • transfer a notice of intended marriage to another online marriage celebrant
  • recall and amend records that have been submitted but not yet marked as 'accepted'.
