Module GE - Timber and quarry materials

This module will help you determine whether you can start activities that involve either:

  • cutting and removing timber
  • extracting, obtaining or removing quarry materials, provided the activity doesn’t meet the definition of mining under the Native Title Act 1993.

You must be planning the activity on a non-exclusive pastoral lease.

If the proposed dealing is being done under legislation other than the Forestry Act 1959 or the Water Act 2000, this module won't apply. Go to Module H.
