Time: 6 days full-time (46 hours in total)

  • 5 days in person (38 hours)

Who can enrol

You can enrol in Mediation level 1 certificate of training if you have an interest in conflict resolution.

How to enrol

Step 1: Complete the application form

Step 2: Upload proof for the concession price (if needed)

If you're applying for the concession price, upload proof like your student ID or pension card. Files must be less than 5MB.

Step 3: Pay the fee

You must pay the fee to secure your place in the training.

  • cultural considerations, inclusivity, accessibility, and diversity
  • managing difficult behaviours and responses
  • trauma informed practice and bias
  • importance of continuing professional development
  • negotiation skills.

How you will be assessed

Closed book written exam
In person (1 hour)

The assessment is optional and only required if you want to become a nationally accredited mediator.

Award you get

Certificate of training award.

Nationally recognised by the Australian mediator and dispute resolution accreditation standards (AMDRAS).
