Licence applications
Form 1 – Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2003
Apply for a licence to be a second-hand dealer, a pawnbroker or both. You can apply as:
- an individual
- a partnership
- another type of corporate entity.
Mutual recognition
- Application for mutual recognition of certificate of registration/occupational licence
Form 2 – Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 1992; Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 2003
Fill out this form if you have an interstate or New Zealand licence as a second-hand dealer or pawnbroker and want to transfer to a Queensland licence.

- Application for approval of an authorised place or new associated person
Form 4 – Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2003
Fill out this form to:
- add a new business location to your licence
- remove an old business location that you no longer use
- add a new associate to your licence.
