Keep driving safely as you age

We support older drivers to continue to drive on Queensland roads for as long as you can do so safely.

As you age, you might notice small changes in your physical and mental abilities, such as how you process information, your vision, or your ability to move. Common health conditions that come with age can also lessen your ability to drive safely.

These changes could change how safely you drive. Make it a habit to monitor your health and driving yourself, and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

Learn about adapting to changes in your health.

Follow the requirements to keep driving when you’re 75 and over in Queensland.
