Taking care of your property after a natural disaster
Natural disasters can cause damage to land and water infrastructure. If you have been involved in a natural disaster such as a flood, cyclone or severe storm, you may have sustained damage to your land or surrounding property. Information is available for landholders who need to:
- repair or replace water infrastructure, such as pumps, bores or weirs
- remove debris or clear vegetation
- assess the impact of a natural disaster on your land valuation
- defer your land rent or instalment.
