A number of dedicated volunteer organisations work with communities throughout Queensland to make our waterways safer. These organisations include:

Helicopter and emergency rescue

Queensland  Government Air (QGAir) delivers life-saving, community safety and state  support aviation services to the people and government of Queensland.

QGAir have bases at Brisbane Airport, Archerfield, Townsville, Cairns,  Mt Isa, and Horn Island.
