A delusion is when you believe something that is not true.
A hallucination is when you hear, see, smell, feel or taste something that is not there.
People with schizophrenia may not understand that other people don’t feel the same way they do and can feel very alone.
There are medicines that can help with schizophrenia. Doctors, psychologists and counsellors can also help people with schizophrenia.
If you are having problems with your thinking, ask your doctor for help.
