Housing assistance to help you recover

As a participant in the Resilient Homes Fund, you may be eligible for financial help and temporary accommodation to support your recovery.

Apply for a Hardship Certificate

In cases of genuine financial hardship, homeowners can apply to have the co-contribution requirements for these programs waived. Find out if you are eligible.

Insurance and the Resilient Homes Fund

Thinking about our experience with the real...resilience fund it was certainly a good process.

The fund and the team have um communicated really well, we've been aware of our options we had an opportunity to also change some aspects of our home that we've wanted to change in the past, that has provided us with this beautiful new home.

Even though all the paperwork and the processes and the jumping through hoops seems like

Key dates

30 July 2023: Program closed to new registrations.

31 March 2027: The completion of works date listed in your Building Contract must not exceed this date.

1 December 2025: Grant applications for funding closed.

Please note: Completion inspections by the RHF, final certification, rectification of defects or incomplete works, and final invoices issued for payment by your licensed contractor must be finalised and submitted to QRIDA before 30 June 2027.
