Teacher registration

Apply for teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. Teaching at a Queensland school without being registered breaches the Education Act 2005.

Indigenous teachers

The Pearl Duncan Teaching Scholarships aim to assist aspiring teachers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage to complete an initial teacher education program.

Scholarships and grants

Scholarships and grants are available to assist aspiring teachers with their studies. Some provide help for graduates, some focus on supporting teachers working in particular subject areas, or in rural and remote areas
