What you should know
You can ask the Land Court to review your case if you don't agree with the Valuer-General's decision about your objection to their land valuation. Appeals must be lodged within 60 days of the date on the decision on objection letter.
The Land Court has a help service to guide people with:
- disagreeing with land value decisions
- getting paid if their land is taken by the government
- complaining about mining projects
- getting paid for mining activities on their land
- protecting cultural heritage.
Who can use this service
You can appeal a decision on your land valuation objection if:
- you are a Queensland landholder (or a landholder's solicitor or authorised agent)
- you have previously lodged an objection about your statutory land valuation with the Valuer-General
- you have received a decision on your objection, but you don't agree with it.
Don't use this service if:
- you have not lodged an objection with the Valuer-General
Instead, lodge an objection with the Land Court.

You must serve a copy of your complete appeal form and any attachments to the Valuer-General within 7 days of lodging this appeal.
Step 5: Receive the outcome
You'll receive a written outcome from the Land Court Registry.
