You can use this service to register as a victim on the QCS Victims Register.

What you should know
The information you get through the Victims Register is confidential and must not be shared publicly unless it is for safety planning purposes.
You will get the offender's sentence, release date, parole eligibilit and other relevant updates.
Your information on the victims' register will be confidential.
You can change your mind at any time and be removed from the register, or you can nominate someone else to receive information on your behalf.
Your registration will end when your offender is no longer under Queensland Corrective Services supervision; homicide victims and offenders are exempt.
Who can use this service
You can register as a victim if you:
- are the victim of a violent or sexual offence
- are the immediate family of a deceased victim of a violent or sexual offender
- are the parent or guardian of a victim who is under 18 or has impaired capacity
- have evidence of domestic violence or violence committed by the offender
- are a witness or have a connection to the offence that puts your life or safety in danger
- are re-registering.
Don't use this service if:
- the offender is not supervised by Queensland Corrective Services

How to register as a victim on the QCS Victims Register

Step 1: Complete the application form

Complete and download the nominee form only if you would like someone else to receive information on your behalf.
Step 2: Gather offender information
Gather name and date of birth information of the offender.
Step 3: Agree to the declaration and privacy information
Agree to the declaration and privacy.
Step 4: Upload your documents
Upload a copy of your ID. You don't have to certify it. Upload the nominee form if applicable.
Step 5: Receive confirmation you are on the register
You’ll be notified once your name has been placed on the register.

How long it takes
Processing time begins when a completed application is received.
Once your application is approved, you (or your nominee) will be notified and provided with your unique reference number.
