You can use this online tool to check the validity of their blue card in real time. It is a good idea to check their card details against another form of ID at the same time.
Using this tool only provides confirmation of a card holder’s status at the time the validity check is completed.

If this person is employed by you, volunteering for you, or starting a student placement with you, it is essential that you link this card holder to your organisation before they start work.
