Apply for a community event grant

Use this form to apply for a 2026 Queensland Youth Week community event grant.

Before you begin

Read the Queensland Youth Week community event grants application guidelines (DOCX, 111.8 KB) for eligibility requirements, funding details, application processes and key dates to help you prepare your submission.

Questions marked with * are mandatory.

Eligibility

  • You must be aged 12–25.
  • You must partner with a local community group or organisation to plan and deliver your event (known as an auspice organisation).
    • Your partner organisation must have public liability insurance coverage up to $10 million.
  • Your event must align with at least 1 of the key focus areas.
  • At least 1 of your events must take place during Queensland Youth Week which runs from 11 April 2026 to 19 April 2026.
  • If you plan to hold an additional event, it must be complete by 30 June 2026.

What you'll need

  • Details about your event including location, timeframes, and budget.
  • Details about the organisation you're partnering with to deliver the event.
  • If you're under 18, a signed parent or guardian consent form.
  • Any other materials to support your application, including:
    • research materials, media articles, or statistics
    • your partner organisation's public liability insurance
    • letter of support from your partner organisation
    • letters or agreements with community groups or stakeholders involved in the event
    • an overview of how the event will be publicised, including channels and strategies
    • any additional information or correspondence that supports your proposal.

After you submit

We'll assess your application after the closure date and notify you of the outcome by 13 March 2026.
