Add your contact details to the after-hours Justices of the Peace (JPs) and Commissioners for Declarations (Cdecs) register so you can volunteer your services outside business hours.

What you should know
By submitting your contact details you agree to have your full name, suburb and phone number listed on the public register. Your street address is not published.
You must be able to provide your services as a JP or Cdec between 7am and 7pm.
The information you provide will also be used to update your contact details on the JP and Cdec register.
Who can use this service
You can add your details to the after-hours JP and Cdec register if you are:
- registered as a JP or Cdec in Queensland
- willing to provide services to the community between 7am and 7pm.
Don't use this service if you:
- are not registered as a JP or Cdec in Queensland
Instead, apply to become a JP or Cdec. - need to update or remove your details from the after-hours register

How to add your details to the after-hours JP and Cdec register
Follow these steps to add your details to the after-hours JP and Cdec register.
Step 1: Complete the online form
Complete the online form.
Step 2: Provide your details
Enter your full name, suburb, phone number and JP or Cdec registration number.
Step 3: Submit the form
Review your details and submit the online form.
How long it takes
Your details will be added to the register within 5 business days.

Free.
